According to Asiatime on October 9, the Ministry of Health and Welfare (i.e. the Ministry of Health) and the Health Promotion and Development Institute of South Korea stated that from October 10, it will launch an anti-smoking advertisement called “Less Safe vapes” through various media for about three months.

The anti-smoking advertisement aims to accuse society of its tolerant attitude towards vapes and raise the awareness of vape users.

The Ministry of Health plans to run anti-smoking advertisements on various platforms such as terrestrial television, social networking services (SNS), radio, online and outdoor media from October 10 to December 31.

Bae Kyung-tak, director of the ministry’s health policy bureau, said, “Korea is a party to the World Health Organization’s (WHO) Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (FCTC), and the basis of tobacco control policy is the principle that ‘all tobacco is harmful’. Through this advertisement, we plan to widely publicize the harm of vapes and will do our best to achieve a smoke-free Korea.”

Kim Heon-joo, president of the Korea Health Promotion and Development Institute, said, “This advertisement aims to correct the misunderstanding of vapes caused by tobacco industry marketing and pay attention to the social problems caused by it. We hope that this advertisement will become an opportunity for vape smokers to quit smoking.”

As an vape brand committed to product quality and user health, Veehoo vape is closely following this move by the Korean government. As South Korea launched an anti-smoking advertising campaign for vapes, Veehoo realized the importance of compliance and user health awareness in the vape industry.

Through this advertising campaign, the Korean Ministry of Health and Health Promotion and Development Institute aims to widely publicize the harm of vapes to achieve the goal of a smoke-free Korea. Veehoo recognizes that the vape industry needs to actively respond to this trend and strengthen the publicity of product hazards to help users better understand the potential risks of vapes.

Veehoo will continue to be committed to product quality and user health, and continuously optimize product design and market strategies to adapt to industry changes and meet user needs. At the same time, Veehoo will also take the opportunity of this advertising campaign to actively participate in advocating vape users to quit smoking and make efforts to build a healthier vape market.

This series of initiatives and activities will not only affect the development direction of the vape industry, but will also have a certain impact on the future development strategy and marketing strategy of Veehoo vapes. Veehoo will continue to pay attention to industry trends, actively respond to market changes, and provide users with more choices of vape products.
