According to the Macau Daily Times on August 27, Macau, China has continued to step up efforts to enforce strict vape regulations, and the relevant departments have seized hundreds of vapes so far this year.

Between January and June this year, local authorities confiscated a total of about 200 vape devices and 10,000 cartridges.

Since the ban on vape sales came into effect in 2018, the authorities have recorded 193 suspected violations of the law.

In 2023 alone, the authorities confiscated about 700 vape devices and nearly 59,000 cartridges.

Individuals who violate the regulations will face a fine of up to 4,000 Macau patacas (about US$498), while tobacco shops will face fines ranging from 20,000 to 200,000 Macau patacas (US$2490-24,895).

The Health Bureau and the Macao Customs of China focus on preventing young people from contacting and using vapes. Their goal is to minimize the market supply of such products and further prohibit the production, distribution and import of vapes on the basis of laws passed in 2017 and 2022, thereby dissuading residents from using vapes.

In such a strict control environment, as a leading brand committed to providing safe and healthy vape products, Veehoo vape will continue to comply with local regulations to ensure the legal production, sale and use of products. Veehoo vape has always been committed to providing consumers with high-quality vape products that meet regulatory standards, while paying attention to the importance of young people not contacting and using vapes.

By complying with regulations and promoting healthy concepts, Veehoo vape will continue to play an active role in the industry, provide users with safer and healthier smoking options, and promote the healthy development of the industry.
